What does it mean to live an awakened life? It's not really about what you do in your life. It's more about how you experience your life. It's knowing that [[You are what you seek]] and living that understanding: [[An awakened life means living freely, lovingly, joyfully, and peacefully as your true authentic Self]]. Living an awakened life means resting in and as [[Self]] even in the midst of living a full life in the world. It's one thing to access [[Self]] in the safe, serene, and secluded setting of a retreat. It's another thing to embody Self while in real world circumstances that trigger the conditioning of our [[Parts]]. See: [[Living an awakened life means being free while still engaging in the world]] and [[Living an awakened life is knowing there are no problems to solve but solving them anyway]]. Living an awakened life doesn't mean getting rid of our [[Parts]]: [[The goal of IFS isn't to get rid of parts]]. And [[Awakening doesn't mean never getting triggered again]]. [[There is no such thing as "awakened", "enlightened", or "healed"]]. Living an awakened life means welcoming [[Parts]] as they arise, both our own parts and those of others: [[Self welcomes all]]. It also means healing the wounds and conditioning of our parts: see [[Self-energy is healing]] and [[The constraints held by burdened parts prevent us from living an awakened life]]. Living an awakened life means calling upon [[Parts]] as needed: [[Parts are valuable]], but letting [[Self]] take the lead. Where this will lead us we cannot know. But [[It doesn't matter what happens]]. Because love, peace, and beauty will be sure to follow. Living an awakened life also means unlocking our true potential: [[The constraints held by burdened parts prevent us from reaching our potential]] and [[Healing and awakening unlock our potential to seek truth, create knowledge, and solve problems]]. [[Living an awakened life is beyond rewarding]]. [[An awakened life is the life you want]].
