In these [[Notes on healing and awakening]], I offer some criticism to different approaches to healing and awakening. I do this even for my two favored approaches: [[IFS]] and [[Nonduality]]. Every approach has problems: [[Problems are inevitable]]. Pointing out these problems and offering alternative approaches that solve these problems is how we make progress: [[Knowledge grows through conjectures and criticism]]. But each approach also solves some problems for some people, which makes them useful. I also have a great deal of respect for anyone who created knowledge, even if there are alternative approaches that we know now to be more useful.
