Seeking truth and creating knowledge requires creativity and an open mind. Accessing [[Self]] unlocks the creativity that's part of the [[The 8 C's of Self]]. And [[Self]] is open-minded, because it is essentially an infinite space of possibility: [[Self is boundless]].
Conversely, when we're blended with [[Parts]], our creative potential is limited and we're closed-minded at least in some domains. [[Parts]] often have beliefs, which despite being wrong and having been presented with good explanations as to why, that they are unwilling to let go of. But for good reason: [[Protectors have good reasons for their roles and beliefs, even when they're extreme, irrational, and wrong]]. So [[Correcting errors in our thinking isn't just about finding and delivering good explanations]].
When we're blended with burdened parts we're also drained of resources that could have otherwise been put toward knowledge creation: [[The constraints held by burdened parts prevent us from reaching our potential]].
And if we can create knowledge, we can solve problems. See: [[Good explanations solve problems]] and [[All evils are due to a lack of knowledge]].
