Thoughts seem to simply appear in [[Awareness]]. And when you're not blended with a doer [part](Parts) that believes that it's making things happen, things seem to just happen without the need for effort or will: [[Parts aren't actually steering the ship]]. Spiritual people often use this as evidence that free will doesn't exist and that creativity, intuition, and wisdom come from some unseen higher power because it doesn't experientially feel like it's coming from the thinking mind. However, free will, creativity, intuition, and wisdom could all still be generating from our minds and by our true [[Self]], but it may be that we just don't have conscious access to this process. And we only find out about this unseen creative process once it's arisen in awareness.
