Doer [[Parts]] are often convinced that our lives would fall apart if they didn't do things, work hard, solve problems, figure things out, plan, etc. But life actually flows naturally, effortlessly, and more inline with our true authentic [[Self]] when these doer parts relax their need to identify with what they're doing: [[Right action is effortless when you're Self-led]]. The things that you need to be done, and the things you want to be done, are done without the need to identify as the doer who's effortfully and deliberately doing these things. The valuable assets that parts have ([[Parts are valuable]]) are still being utilized when you're [[Self-led]], however unburdened parts are no longer identified with their roles nor attached to the outcomes: [[Unburdened protectors can use their talents without suffering]].
While parts aren't steering the ship, I'm not sure it's true to say that no one is: [[Just because we don't experience free will doesn't mean we don't have it]]. (Although ultimately, even if [[Self]] is steering the ship, it's not a one to identify with.)
