I use the word "[[Parts]]" here instead of "people", because [[Self]] doesn't coerce. [[Coercion is wrong]], and Self isn't so attached to beliefs that it would feel the need to use might to get what it wants: [[Self has no beliefs]]. However, [[Protectors have good reasons for their roles and beliefs, even when they're extreme, irrational, and wrong]]. However, currently most people are blended with burdened parts most of the time. So while, [[Right action is effortless when you're Self-led]], most people aren't Self-led. In this case, some rules, shoulds, and coercion are a necessary evil (like punishing criminals) until we have the right knowledge to live in a Self-led society: [[All evils are due to a lack of knowledge]].
