The spiritual practice or effort to be made, if you want to call it that, is a sincere intention to know the truth of one's nature: [[True spiritual practice is sincere investigation of our experience]]. But once there's an intention to know the truth, practice is more of a relaxation of effort that's already being made by burdened and contracted parts of us who shroud our access to [[Self]]: [[Awakening is relaxing effort, not exerting it]]. Some spiritual practices encourage effort, but these practices manipulate experience. [[True spiritual practice is not about manipulating experience]]. Because [[Self welcomes all]].
