I've seen many in spiritual communities report frustration to peers and teachers the they've realized some spiritual truth yet are failing to live its implications. [Part](Parts) of me has had this concern at times as well.
Pointers to truth can be helpful. But the true intention behind pointers are to direct one to contemplate the nature of their own experience.
No amount of believing a spiritual truth to be true will translate to living its implications: [[Spiritual or nondual truths are not beliefs to defend]]. And no amount of explanation to your parts will change their minds if they're burdened. [[Parts don't need better explanations of spiritual truths. They need their fears to be addressed]].
[[Self]] can be alarming for parts: [[Self-essence can be unsettling for parts]]. And parts may take the implications of spiritual truths and [[Nonduality]] to mean that their cherished beliefs, identities, and roles are wrong and should be dropped. So it shouldn't be surprising that they resist your newfound spiritual realizations. But [[Protectors have good reasons for their roles and beliefs, even when they're extreme, irrational, and wrong]].
For truth to be embodied, parts need to trust [[Self]]: [[To become Self-led, parts need to learn to trust Self]].
